Michigan University’s basketball team is not letting anything get in their way this March… not even a plane accident.

On their way to D.C. to play in the Big Ten Tournament, Michigan’s plane slides off the runway due to high winds.

“Everybody is pretty shook up. There’s only minor injuries.  The big thing to know is we have no major injuries,” Head Coach John Beilein says.

Michigan finds another form of transportation and makes it to D.C. in time for their game but their jerseys were stuck on the first plane.

Beilein gave them the choice to either not play because of what happened or to play in their practice uniforms. The team chose to play, and they have not lost since.
