DELTA DELTA DELTA INVITES GREEK LIFE MEMBERS TO KICK IT FOR ST. JUDE
Charleston, IL – November 30, 2016 — Eastern Illinois University’s Delta Delta Delta sorority will hold their annual philanthropy event, Kick it for St. Jude, to raise money for their national philanthropic partner, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This event will be held on December 6, 2016 at 6 p.m. in Mcafee Gym.
All Greek chapters have been invited to play against fellow Greek life members in a game of soccer. There is a team fee of $50, $30 for additional teams, and $15 per person. Each team member will receive a shirt to wear and the winning team will receive a dinner, for their chapter, cooked by Tri Delta’s.
Danny Thomas opened the doors of St. Jude in 1962 with the promise that no family would ever receive a bill for treatment, travel, food and housing; and they have kept their promise since then. It coast $2.2 million to run St. Jude daily and 75% of the money comes from donations. By helping Tri Delta raise money, you are helping the kids and families of St. Jude.
Tri Delta was founded in 1888 and adopted St. Jude as their national philanthropic partner in 1999. Since then they have raised over $45 millions to help house patients on the hospitals campus at Tri Delta Place.
