The Counseling Center
One in four students at American colleges, like Eastern, has a diagnosable mental illness.
Eastern’s Counseling Center has reacted to this statistic from the National Alliance of Mental Illness by offering health services to all undergraduate and graduate students enrolled.
Eastern’s licensed counselor, Lindsay Wilson says the center is used to enhance psychological health and promote the overall wellness of the campus student community.
The center offers free sessions in order to be available to any student who is in need of the center’s services.
Wilson said she believes the center can contribute greatly to students being successful in college and with their future.
