Global Culture Night
Students, faculty and citizens held hands and sang Michael Jackson’s “We are the World” together Saturday night.
This was to help promote unity between world cultures during Global Cultural Night, put on by the Association of International Students and Chi Alpha Campus Ministries.
AIS president Beluchukwu Ebede and Chi Alpha president Mark Bettinger both said the night was a success and helped unify the different cultures present.
The event was held in the Grand Ballroom in the Martin Luther King Jr. University Union on Eastern Illinois University’s campus.
Attendees participated in many activities, which ranged from a unique game of bingo to dancing, singing and a game of musical chairs.
